it might be cheaper to hook my leaf blower up to it. Maybe the beater will get a "blower" too then smile

I'd love to see somebody get one and do a before and after dyno.

Ok, I purchased this thing a long time ago, for the sole reason that this seems like a cool way to make power. Unfortunately, I did not give it a fair chance. Since then, I've gone JRSC @6psi.

I purchased the eRam about a year ago. I got the inline version, perfect for cutting a section out of my AEM CAI piping. I did this the day before going to the track. Anyhow, I ran a best of 16.13 before the eRam. That was a 95 LS with an AEM intake and 16" enkeis w/ nitto nt555s. I was taking it easy on the clutch. The day I got to the track with the eRam, I ran a best of 16.38, but this was probably due to my nitto nt450s being over inflated 36psi. bah. I had no traction that day. Being rather pissed off after spending $300 and LOSING power (or so I had thought), I tored the eRam off in disgust.

8 Months later... I put the JRSC@6psi on, with boost guage. After playing around with the JRSC, I remember my eRam that supposedly put out 1 psi. Being doubtful of its functionality, I decided to hook it up to the bottom of my iceman. I took it out for a spin, and lo and behold, I was at 7psi of boost!!!! I was unable to feel a power increase when I turned the eRam on at WOT, but the boost increased 1 psi.

Here's why I do not think it gives a noticeable gain. When the eRam kicks on at WOT, the lights dim signifigantly. Let me remind you, this is WOT, and the alternator is at full power (I would assume). It's pulling a LARGE ammount of current from the alternator, therefore making it work harder and sucking up power from the motor. So basically, no gain.

THe motor also drops in revs when the eRam is turned on while idling.

I do not have any dyno numbers, but if anyone is interested in getting some, I am selling my eRam.

The bottom line is I have no idea if this things makes measurable power or not. but their website says it does...

The other thing is, does your fuel pressure raise, or some type of fuel ECU trick to get more fuel in under the 1 psi boost?

I don't think it would work well with a SC kit.

I'd LOVE to see somebody do a before and after dyno with it. I'd do it, if I had one.

I had thought about the fuel issue, and that is one of the reasons I would rather not risk it. There are no tricks it uses to add more fuel.

The thing is damn powerful though. I was able to make it float when connected to a filter just like in the videos on their web site.
